We are ideally placed for travelling motorists, being just 3 minutes from Junction 10 of the M56 and around 6 minutes from Junction 20 of the M6. Our location on the A49 is also ideal for visitors to Warrington (12 min), Northwich (10 min), Runcorn (10 min ) & Frodsham (10min) . In addition we are just a 18 minutes drive from Manchester Airport and 20 minutes from Liverpool Airport.

If you are arriving by train then the closest station is Acton Bridge just 5 min away by car, the cost of a taxi from Warrington Train Station is around £19, Northwich £12, Runcorn £15. We have special agreements with the following taxi firms and recommend them to you – Redway Travel 01606 44999, Roger Jones Cars 07843 632735 & Argent Cars 07768 598686.

There is no way of getting to Happy Guests Lodge by bus!

However, although we are on the A49, we are in a rural location, not in a town centre, a 5 minute walk from one local pub and less than 5 minutes by car from 5 other country pubs – but we are very self sufficient with our own Bar and Good Food, available from 12 – 9.30pm daily.

Happy Guests Lodge is a great base for discovering Cheshire, close to the Anderton Boat Lift, Oulton Park Race Track, Country Walks and there are plenty of National Trust properties and Castles to see! Indeed if you fancy a walk in the Cheshire Countryside then simply turn right out of the Lodge and you will soon be strolling along the beautiful Trent & Mersey Canal.

Our location is very central and therfore is far more flexible than staying in a hotel in Warrington, a hotel in Northwich or a hotel in Runcorn.
